Please fill in all the fields (mandatory fields are highlighted with an asterix*) and provide as much information as you can about yourself and your work experience. The profiles are used (with consent) to provide up-to-date information to schools.

Once your profile page is completed we will contact you to arrange an interview and progress your teacher registration. Please download our application and medical declaration forms and bring these to interview.

Secondary schools offer general day to day cover and subject specialist long-term cover.

We can offer you a variety of placements which allows you to gain experience before securing a permanent post. Once you are registered, your details will be added to our Teacher Database. Our Jobs Database offers a selection of vacancies currently available. This means can we can match your requirements to available positions at schools in Essex and Suffolk.

Our service takes care of everything, including finding you suitable positions, contacting schools with your details and arranging your interviews. Working as a supply teacher often leads to permanent job opportunities. As you work in schools you build up relationships with schools. Quite often schools request particular teachers directly when recruiting for temporary and permanent positions.

Newly Qualified

Newly qualified teachers often choose to work as a supply teacher in order to broaden their experience of different school environments and to increase their experience of differing age groups. The reasons for this choice are varied some wish to further their experience before securing a permanent post while others may wish to travel and use supply teaching as a way of raising funds. If a newly qualified teacher secures a temporary or permanent post through CCES then we would ensure that they would receive appropriate support with their induction programme.

Registration Process

1. Please enter your full details on the website database.

2. Once your registration has been reviewed you will be contacted by a consultant and/ or invited for interview.

3. Please download our application form and bring it completed to interview.

4. We also require two passport photos and a current C.V.
